I was appalled to see this appear in today's newspaper. If you did not figure out what I am trying to point out, it's the details of the student's caste next to one's name.
I am not sure whether the esteemed IIT coaching insti thought atleast for a sec that this is supposed to be a personal (and confidential) fact as far as the student is concerned. If the head of an IIT coaching insti is unable to sensitize himself on this issue, god only knows whats in store for us.

hi! i read on your blog about the CFA level 1. I have two questions if you will be kind enough to answer
1. Have you also appeared for further levels?
2. Do you still stand by your recommendations about the Schweser?

I am appearing for CFA L-II and using Scheweser for same. Unless the exam works out to be totally disastrous coz of problems with schweser, I would not change my opinion. And yeah, my opinion towards schweser, as pointed out before, is for passing the test and not for learning the concepts. Unfortunately one need not know the concepts really well to crack CFA L I. The CFAI books are way too good when it comes to explaining concepts.
